Dr. McNaughton grew up in the central valley of California. He graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Biology in 2022. He then went on to receive his DVM from UC Davis in 2026. He found his passion for emergency medicine while on externship at AEH and is beyond excited to work with the amazing team here. His interests in veterinary medicine lie in soft tissue surgery, neurology, small animal emergency medicine, livestock, and exotic pets! He enjoys spending time fishing, playing/watching basketball (Go Lakers!), and adventuring with his partner Silvina. He has two rambunctious cats at home (Luffy and Nami) who are named after characters from his favorite show, One Piece.
